Welcome to Aveda Online Canada. Shopping is easy, convenient and secure.

Step One:
Type in the quantity of product you wish to purchase (up to six [6] of any single item).

Step Two:
Click on "Add to Bag" to place the product in your shopping bag.

Step Three:
Follow the onscreen instructions to proceed through the checkout process. Please note that you may change the contents of your shopping bag during checkout. After your order has been submitted, a "Thank You" page will be displayed and your order number will be provided. An email confirming receipt of your order will arrive shortly after your order has been submitted. If an order confirmation does not arrive within 24 hours after submission, please contact us at 1.800.644.4831 for assistance. For fastest service, please have your order number available.

Where Local Inventory information is available and inventory is in stock, we will match the price shown on at our Aveda stores at the time of purchase.

Selecting Color Online

This site is best viewed with Firefox, Chrome, Safari or Internet Explorer 8.0 or higher and a minimum monitor resolution of 1024x768. Item Availability

Temporarily Out of Stock / Backordered Items

If an item selected is temporarily out of stock at the time of your order, you will be notified via email and advised of the expected ship date of the backordered item. Backordered items are shipped as soon as they are available. Please be assured that you will not be charged for any item until it is shipped. There will be no additional shipping charges for backordered item(s) shipped. If for any reason you wish to cancel a backordered item prior to shipment, please contact us at 1.800.644.4831 and we will be happy to assist you.

Pre-sell Items

Pre-sell items are items that are not yet in stock, but available for advanced purchase on our site. Pre-sell items are shipped as soon as they are available with no additional shipping charges. We will notify you of the status of your Pre-sell item via email updates and confirmations. Please be assured that you will not be charged for any item until it is shipped. Anticipated shipment time (i.e. "Available for shipping in mid-September") is indicated on the site adjacent to product information. Please note: The actual delivery date of your order depends on the shipping method you select.

Maximum Purchase Policy

We regret that we must limit orders to no more than six (6) units of any single item and 14 total items, with a maximum purchase of CA $5,000 per customer. In addition, we must also limit orders to no more than three (3) orders per customer per day. Redeeming Promotion Codes

  • Enter the offer code on the "Payment" page or the "Review Your Order" page.
  • Offer codes are case sensitive and should be entered exactly as they appear.
  • When you click "Submit Order" The offer will be applied to your order.
  • When the offer code is accepted, it will be displayed in the "Payment Summary".

*Important Note: One (1) promotion code may be used per order.

Sales Tax

Aveda Online Canada is required by law to collect sales tax on orders being shipped to all Canadian provinces and territories. Sales tax will be assessed on the total purchase, including shipping and handling charges. If you have other questions regarding sales tax, please feel free to email us.

Important information:
For your security your billing name and address must match that of the credit card used for payment. We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not match these criteria.

Payment Authorization

All purchases are subject to bank authorization prior to processing. Only authorized purchases will be processed and shipped.

Payment Authorization Holds

When placing an order using a credit card, two transactions will be posted to your account.

The issuing bank for your payment card will place a hold on the funds in your account in the amount of your purchase when an order is authorized. This action reserves the funds for the pending charge.

When your order is shipped, you will be charged for the items that are shipped. The charge may vary from the amount of the authorization hold if items within the order are not shipped.

If an order is cancelled, the authorization hold will be removed by the issuing bank. For details on the removal of authorization holds, please contact the issuing bank’s customer service. Because this process is specific to each bank, we regret that we cannot provide assistance with the removal of authorization holds.

Auto Replenishment

Enjoy automatic replenishment of many of your favourite Aveda products! When you select the Auto Replenishment Service, you'll automatically receive a new shipment of the item in intervals you select.

To activate automatic replenishment, simply select the time interval for future shipments from the pulldown menu next to the item(s). These products will be automatically shipped to you at the intervals you select.

You'll be asked to provide a shipping address, credit card and billing address. We'll charge your credit card for each order only when the item is shipped, and you may cancel at any time. Once the order is placed, your first shipment will be processed and your Auto Replenishment Service will be activated. You will receive free shipping with all Auto Replenishment orders. From your second replenishment order onwards, you’ll also enjoy a 10% discount.
